Atena Panier
Atena Panier is a door and window handle that interprets classic taste through a balanced and timeless sign. The design is characterised by the linearity of the grip and by measured proportions, capable of expressing solidity and elegance. The grip is decorated with the technique of guilloché in the panier motif, a geometric weave inspired by the basket’s texture, precisely engraved on the brass surface. This workmanship enhances the material and enriches the tactile experience, improving grip and comfort of use.

Atena Panier design story
Atena Panier combines function, decoration and build quality, interpreting Italian design as a synthesis of artisanal tradition and formal refinement, in harmonious dialogue with classic and contemporary environments.
The Panier decoration picks up the classic motif of the guilloché tradition that alludes to the wicker weave of baskets, expressing elegance and classicism.
Unlike freehand engraving (incisione tout court), made by hand and suited to a freer, more naturalistic decoration, that produced with the macchine à guillocher is typically mechanical and repetitive; however it allows an infinity of different patterns as the processing parameters vary, combining with the operator’s technical and aesthetic sensitivity.
