Atena Rank
Atena Rank is a door handle that interprets classic taste through a solid and rigorous design. The shape of the grip, linear and well proportioned, expresses balance and restraint, giving the handle a discreet yet authoritative presence. The grip is decorated with the technique of guilloché in the rank motif, characterised by a rhythmic sequence of regular vertical incisions that mark the brass surface. This precision workmanship enhances the material, improves the grip and enriches the tactile experience.

Atena Rank design story
Designed as a handle for internal doors and windows, Atena Rank combines function, decoration and build quality, interpreting Italian design as a synthesis of manufacturing tradition and timeless elegance, in harmony with classical and contemporary architectural contexts.
The Rank decoration picks up the classic “a onda” motif of the guilloché tradition, which pairs well with the geometric purity of the cylinder, creating reflections of strong character.
Unlike freehand engraving (incisione tout court), made by hand and suited to a freer, more naturalistic decoration, that produced with the macchine à guillocher is typically mechanical and repetitive; however it allows an infinity of different patterns as the processing parameters vary, combining with the operator’s technical and aesthetic sensitivity.
