Diana Damier
Diana Damier with a square rosette is a door handle of classic, balanced taste. The design of the grip, sober and well proportioned, gives the handle an orderly, timeless architectural character. The grip is decorated with the guilloché technique with a Damier motif, a checkerboard pattern precisely engraved on the brass surface, which creates a refined play of solids and voids. This workmanship enhances the material, improves the grip and enriches the tactile experience. Designed as a handle for interior doors, Diana interprets Italian design as a synthesis of decorative tradition, constructive quality and attention to detail, integrating naturally into classic and contemporary environments.

Diana Damier design story
Unlike engraving tout court, made by hand, which lends itself to a freer, more naturalistic decoration, the one produced with the à guillocher machines is typically mechanical and repetitive, yet allows an infinite variety of different patterns to be obtained by varying the processing parameters, combining with the operator’s technical and also aesthetic sensibility.
