Melanzana
Melanzana was born as a knob handle with a rounded and generous shape, designed to offer a natural and comfortable grip. The full, continuous volume defines a soft gesture, while the slightly inclined stem facilitates the action of the hand, improving ergonomics in daily use. A design handle that combines functionality and formal quality, expressing a measured balance between comfort, proportion and character.

Melanzana design story
Melanzana was previously produced by Azucena, a historic Italian brand founded in 1947 by Ignazio Gardella, Corrado Corradi Dell’Acqua and Caccia Dominioni himself: the company manufactured and marketed a precious collection of furnishing and design objects they designed, a refined and cultured expression of a modern way of living but strongly rooted in tradition.
